Being a Voyeur

It could be a good thing. I lurk on several teacher groups. Armed with pen in hand, I pluck ideas for my books, study/teacher guides and pdf downloads that compliment my books.

Here is an idea. Teacher’s are crying for activities and craft projects tied to a picture book. Take a little time to devise a craft to go with your book. The people that educate our children are overworked and underpaid. Why not provide an activity or craft that compliments your book. It will be one less thing for our teachers to have to do. They’ll love you for it.

If you are an illustrator, take an active part in making your books more marketable. Encourage your authors to incorporate a study/teacher’s guide into their books. Use your creative talents to supply craft ideas in the guides.

Great tip. Thanks for sharing. I'll have to look into this for my first picture book.
